ASPIRE * MOTIVATE * SUCCEED

Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”

2013 Goals

Today I posted on the "Food Storage Made Easy" Facebook page my food storage goals for 2013. (Keeping my eyes, fingers and toes crossed that I win the sun oven!) Here they are~ 1.Purchase wheat grinder and begin baking with NATURAL yeast. 2.Fill my pantry with food for 2 weeks. Practice not going to the store for 2 weeks. 3.Create a recipe collection that utilizes food storage items. 4.Can more beans and meat. Try canning butter. 5.Create a family blog for extended family members to share ideas and success in food storage and emergency preparation. 6.Put together a family emergency file in a manilla envelope that contains important documents to keep in our 72 hour kits. Very excited about 2013 and the blessings and opportunities that come along with preparedness. We all know success comes from writing down and sharing goals. What are your goals for 2013?
